Let's face it, the common old quartz
crystal is still a favourite of all rock lovers everywhere! They come in
such a wide variety of shapes sizes and configurations, and can have so many
different inclusions of other minerals that you can't help being fascinated
by them!!
While I have a large
collection of various mineral specimens, some of my favourite pieces are
cheap quartz crystals - for no reason other then "I Like Them!"...and I bet
you are the same!
The trouble is - how do
you find the crystal that you really want. Sure, there are a lot of websites
out there selling quartz crystals - but where do you find one with red
haematite inclusions. Or water bubbles. Or how about amethyst phantom
crystals?
And that's the reason why I created
this website. To showcase the very best, rarest and most unusual quartz
crystals available!
After spending weeks
trying to figure out a way to categorize all of our quartz crystals, I
finally decided to do it really simply. Instead of categorizing by
configuration. locality, inclusions or whatever... I finally decided to
group them as simply small crystals,
medium crystals or
large crystals!
